Changing Their Culture With Conversations About Vulnerability

June 1, 2021 Reed Inc. has kicked-off a company mission to align their culture to their big “why.” From team members to sub-contractors, and the villagers in the communities where they work, they want to positively impact all those they work with. Carroll Consulting Group is excited to partner with them to help make their vision a reality. The partnership is likely to include leadership development, culture change initiates and Dare To Lead(tm) workshops.

Reed Inc. provides professional and reliable security, training, logistics, construction management environmental services and demining for clients located in remote, third world, multi-cultural and high-risk geographical environments.

#SuperHerosWearScrubs

#SuperHerosWearScrubs Last month my client work made me a better person. After spending two days face-to-face (or mask-to-mask) with 60 heroic nurse managers at NCH Healthcare System I was humbled. I witnessed first-hand what an unwavering commitment to the values of strength, caring and courage look like in the toughest of times. We trust that our work together gave them new tools and skills to make their jobs of bravely leading during this unprecedented time easier. Please take the time to appreciate a healthcare worker today for making a positive impact on our nation & world in this time of crisis—and beyond

Thank you Michelle Atkinson Jonathan Kling for making this happen.

Air Force Munitions Lab Leaders Join our Growing Dare To Lead Graduates List

Worked with this brilliant group from Eglin Air Force Munitions Lab last week. It was a privilege to share the research-based leadership program Dare to Lead with them. Their commitment to bravery is surpassed only by their commitment to their mission. Special thanks to @Lori Auten for her facilitation support. Air Force Research Laboratory

Are You Opting Out of Conversations About Diversity, Inclusion & Equity?

Are You Opting Out of Conversations About Diversity, Inclusion & Equity?

A seven year study on brave leadership by Dr. Brené Brown confirmed this - if you aren't willing to have important conversations about diversity, inclusion and equity - you will not be leading in 5 years.

The world is desperate for your brave leadership on this. Yes, it may feel uncomfortable to have these conversations. You may not feel knowledgeable enough and you may worry you will say the wrong thing. You don't want people to misinterpret what you say or do as sexist, racist, homophobic or some other kind of hater that you believe you’re not - so you do nothing. I get it. That seems the safest route.

But opting out of these conversations because you feel uncomfortable, is the definition of privilege. Read more…
